Standard gym access with dumbbells, barbells, and cables is advised. If you don’t have gym access, we do provide at-home alternatives so you can still get great gains from the program in the comfort of your home. However, a superband is strongly advised, any brand works fine but we typically use — perform better superband (black).
Polar Heart Rate Monitor is recommended, but optional.
Yes, you’ll have access to this program beyond the 8 weeks. We advise that people repeat the program multiple times whenever they need to lose some extra body fat.
Yes, when you sign up for Fat Don’t Fly, you can get The PJF Nutrition Code for 50% off. You’ll pay $7 per month for the app and it will give you customized meal plans specific to your goals and all of the meal plans for your calorie range. The app even uses artificial intelligence to recommend foods that fill your micronutrient deficiencies! You can either follow the meal plans provided or you can simply track your foods as you go and the app will rank you from a grade of A-F in 26 nutrients every day.
Because we are trying to increase relative force production to improve athleticism, we train fast-twitch muscle fibers with explosive movements. We keep plyometrics to a minimum since the goal is improved body composition, but we do strategically implement some plyo’s along with alternatives for beginners who aren’t quite ready for plyometrics.
This program provides extremely detailed exercise demonstrations and precise sets and reps to make it easy for people to follow on their own. This program does not provide human to human interaction. Personal coaching from The PJF Staff or any professional training staff would cost thousands of dollars per month, a program this affordable cannot include personal coaching.
Typically our players who go through the full 8-week program significantly improve their vertical jump and speed. When you decrease body fat while maintaining or increasing lean muscle, your relative force production improves and the result is improved athleticism.
